Within hours, Trump released a powerful video message from the Oval Office that has already garnered over 2 million views and sparked global debate.
But what did Hamas really agree to?
Why did Trump pressure Netanyahu to stop the bombing immediately?
And what does this unprecedented diplomatic breakthrough have to do with a 2500 year old Bible prophecy about the end times.
You will be shocked when you discover five discoveries about this news.
Discovery one Trump's peace plan.
To understand the magnitude of Trump's response, you need to understand what led to this moment, because October 2025 represents the convergence of multiple crises that have brought the world to the brink of unprecedented change. We're now in the second year of the Israel Hamas conflict that began with the October 7 attacks. Over 50,000 lives have been lost. Millions have been displaced. The Middle East stands on the edge of regional war involving Iran, Turkey and potentially Russia.
On September 29 Trump unveiled his 20 point peace plan, the most comprehensive Middle East initiative in modern history, an immediate ceasefire and complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, total demilitarization of all militant groups, a massive reconstruction effort overseen by an international board of peace chaired personally by Donald Trump himself. But here's what made this different from every previous peace proposal. Trump gave Hamas exactly 72 hours to respond, not weeks of negotiations, not months of diplomatic back and forth. Accept the plan by October 5 or face what he called all hell breaking loose with unlimited American backing for Israel to finish the job militarily.
The world held its breath. Would Hamas accept a deal that required them to surrender their weapons and governmental control? Would they reject it and trigger the massive military campaign that Netanyahu had been preparing on October 3, they blinked first, sort of , Hamas issued a six paragraph statement that shocked diplomatic observers worldwide.
They conditionally accepted key elements of Trump's plan, agreeing to release all remaining Israeli hostages, hand over governance to a Palestinian technocratic body and begin implementing an immediate ceasefire.
But they rejected crucial aspects full demilitarization Trump's personal role as reconstruction chairman and isolation of Gaza from broader Palestinian issues.
It was a “yes - but” response that left everything hanging in the balance. This is the first time since 2020, Hamas has conditionally accepted any plan involving direct US leadership, the first time they've agreed to comprehensive hostage releases, the first time they've acknowledged the possibility of surrendering governmental control, Trump had hours to respond before his own deadline expired.
The world was watching.
Markets were trembling, and Biblical Prophecy Watchers were wondering if they were about to witness the fulfillment of ancient warnings about false peace in the last days.
Discovery two: Trump's full video response. What Trump said next has been called everything from diplomatic genius to prophetic fulfillment to dangerous deception
Speaking directly to camera from behind the resolute desk with a map of Gaza's proposed withdrawal lines visible behind him, Trump delivered what he called one of the greatest days in civilization's history.
Let me take you through his exact words, because every phrase matters.
Good afternoon, folks. This is a big day for the Middle East, for Israel, for the hostages families, and really, for the world.
Notice how he frames this globally, not just regionally. This isn't just about Gaza or even Israel. This is about the entire world order. Based on what they said, I believe they're ready for a lasting peace. They've agreed to release all the hostages, the living ones, about 20 brave souls and the remains of the others, around 28 that's huge.
But then Trump said something that sent shockwaves through both diplomatic and prophetic communities. Israel, you've been incredible, strong, tough, like lions, but now it's time to stop the bombing in Gaza. Right now, it's too dangerous to get the hostages out while the strikes continue.
This was the first time since October 7, 2023 that any American president had publicly demanded Israel halt military operations. Trump was essentially choosing hostage recovery over Israeli military objectives.
He continued.
We're already talking details with the mediators, Qatar, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Jordan. Everybody was unified at the UN and beyond, wanting this war to end.
And then came the phrase that has Prophecy Watchers around the world taking notice.
“This isn't just about Gaza. It's about the whole Middle East coming together, eternal peace, no more, fighting, rebuilding, stronger than ever, eternal peace. “
Those exact words when Trump speaks of eternal peace biblical prophecy, watchers hear something else entirely.
They hear echoes of ancient warnings about false peace that precedes the greatest deception in human history.
Discovery three prophetic parallels.
Let me show you why Trump's response has students of biblical prophecy sitting up and taking notice, because the parallels to ancient predictions are impossible to ignore, and the details are more specific than most people realize.
Daniel 9:27, “and he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week, and in the midst of the week, he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations, he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
What does this mean?
Daniel 9:27 is part of a highly significant prophecy known as the "Seventy Weeks" prophecy, which many interpret as predicting key events related to the return of the Messiah and the future of Jerusalem. Let’s look at the verse first:
Daniel 9:27 (NKJV):
"Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate."
Breaking down the verse:
1. "He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week"
The "he" is often understood to be a significant figure—many interpret him as the Antichrist, especially in eschatological (end-times) perspectives.
The "one week" refers to a period of seven years (a "week" of years, based on Hebrew prophetic symbolism where a day equals a year).
Meaning:** This figure will make a pact or treaty with many people for a seven-year period.
2. "But in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering"
Middle of the week:** After three and a half years, this figure will break the covenant or treaty.
End of sacrifices:** This indicates a disruption of the Jewish sacrificial system—possibly a sign of desecration or apostasy.
3. "And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate"
"Abominations" and "desolate" refer to acts of profound sacrilege or idolatry.
This phrase suggests that this figure will set up something offensive or blasphemous, leading to desolation—possibly the "abomination of desolation" mentioned elsewhere in Daniel and by Jesus in Matthew 24.
What?
Great question! The "abomination of desolation" is a significant biblical phrase associated with end-times prophecy, and it appears in several key passages in Daniel and Jesus' teachings. Let’s explore where it’s mentioned and what it means.
1. In the Book of Daniel
a. Daniel 9:27 (already discussed)
As part of the Seventy Weeks prophecy, it mentions an "abomination" that causes desolation, set up by the figure who breaks the covenant halfway through the seven years.
b. Daniel 11:31
"And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and replace them there with ‘the abomination of desolation.’"
This refers to a future ruler (often interpreted as the Antichrist) who will desecrate the Jewish temple by setting up something offensive—possibly an idol or sacrilegious object—leading to the "abomination of desolation."
The phrase indicates a profound act of sacrilege that makes the temple unclean or desolate.
c. Daniel 12:11
"And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be 1,290 days."
This pinpoints a specific time period linked to the act of desolation, emphasizing its importance in prophetic timelines.
2. In the New Testament — Jesus’ teachings in Matthew 24
Matthew 24:15-16 (NKJV):
"Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place”—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains."
[Great question! Matthew 24:16 says:
"Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains." (NKJV)
This verse is part of Jesus’ prophecy about the events surrounding the "abomination of desolation" and the subsequent tribulation. Let's unpack its meaning and whether it applies only to those in Judea or also to others.
Context of Matthew 24:16
Jesus is warning His disciples about future signs indicating the approaching end-times, particularly the period of great tribulation.
The mention of "Judea" refers to the region around Jerusalem, the heart of Jewish religious life.
The phrase "flee to the mountains" is advice to those in Judea to escape the coming destruction or persecution.
What does "flee to the mountains" mean?
Practical advice:** During times of imminent danger—such as invasion or divine judgment—believers or residents in Judea are instructed to escape quickly to safer, remote mountainous areas, avoiding the destruction coming upon Jerusalem.
Symbolic meaning:** It underscores urgency and the need to avoid the catastrophic judgment of that period.
Does it apply only to those in Judea?
Yes, primarily.* Jesus is addressing people *within Judea**, specifically those living near Jerusalem, urging them to evacuate quickly when they see certain signs.
Why?** Because the prophecy predicts a specific judgment on Jerusalem and the Jewish temple, which was historically fulfilled in 70 AD when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the temple.
What about those outside Judea?
Less direct application:** People outside Judea or Gentiles elsewhere are not specifically instructed to flee, as they are not the target of this particular warning.
However,** the broader principles of preparedness, vigilance, and avoiding coming judgment can be applied generally—believers everywhere are encouraged to be spiritually alert and ready for divine intervention.
Historical and future application
Historically:** Many interpret that in 70 AD, the Jewish people in Judea were urged to escape the Roman siege, which aligns with Jesus’ warning.
Future prophecy:** Some believe this warning will have a similar literal application during the end-times, especially for Jews living in Jerusalem or Judea, when they will need to flee to the mountains to escape impending judgment.
Summary
"Let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains"** is a specific warning to residents of Judea about escaping imminent destruction during a prophetic event.
It primarily applies to those physically in Judea, not necessarily to believers outside that region.
Spiritually**, it emphasizes the importance of readiness and urgent action when signs of divine judgment appear.]
Jesus refers to Daniel’s prophecy, indicating that this event will be a sign of significant end-times developments.
The phrase "standing in the holy place" suggests a blasphemous or sacrilegious act involving the temple or a sacred site.
What does "abomination of desolation" mean?
Meaning and significance:
"Abomination"** refers to something offensive, sacrilegious, or idolatrous—an act or object that desecrates what is holy.
"Desolation"** signifies destruction, ruin, or devastation—specifically, the desecration of the temple or sacred space.
Combined**, the phrase indicates a blasphemous act that causes spiritual and possibly physical desolation of the holy place.
Historical and future implications:
Historically, the phrase could refer to the actions of Antiochus IV Epiphanes in 168 BC, who desecrated the Jewish temple by erecting an altar to Zeus and offering sacrifices there.
In a future, prophetic sense, many Christians interpret the "abomination of desolation" as a future event involving the Antichrist setting up an idol or blasphemous act in a rebuilt Jewish temple, marking a key sign of the end times.

Matthew 24:15 I.e. the Antichrist (2 Thess 2:4), “the prince who is to come” who will make a covenant with Israel, then break it in the middle of the tribulation (the seven-year period of Dan 9:27).
Jesus’ warning about end-times | A future event where the "abomination of desolation" signals a critical point for believers to flee and prepare |
In essence:
The "abomination of desolation" is a prophetic term describing a profound act of sacrilege—set up by a false or blasphemous leader—that defiles the holy place (the temple). It serves as a key sign in biblical prophecy indicating the climax of end-times events.
4. "Even until the consummation, which is poured out on the desolate"
The "consummation" indicates the final culmination of God's judgment.
The "poured out on the desolate" suggests divine judgment upon the desolate or the one who causes desolation.
Summary and interpretation:
Contextually, Daniel 9:27 portrays a future period—a seven-year covenant that begins with peace but ends in great defilement and destruction.
In prophecy, many scholars see this as a prediction of the rise of a false peace leader (often called the Antichrist), who will make a treaty with Israel, break it halfway through, commit sacrilege (the abomination of desolation), and ultimately be judged by God.
Key points to consider:
Historical/eschatological view: Many interpret the "week" as a future seven-year period tied to end-times events.
Symbolism: The "covenant," "abomination," and "desolation" are symbolic of spiritual rebellion and divine judgment.
Application: The verse encourages believers to be watchful and discerning of future prophetic events, understanding that God's plan includes judgment and redemption.
This verse is part of Daniel's famous 70 Weeks Prophecy, one of the most precise and detailed predictions in all of Scripture. To understand why Trump's response matters prophetically, we need to understand what Daniel actually predicted. The Hebrew text reveals stunning details. The Hebrew word, translated confirm, is “gabar”, which doesn't mean to create something new, but to strengthen, make firm or give force to something that already exists.
Daniel is describing someone who will take existing agreements and make them stronger, more comprehensive, more binding.
The word covenant beareth in Hebrew refers to a formal binding agreement that creates lasting relationships between parties. This isn't just a cease fire or temporary arrangement. It's a fundamental restructuring of regional relationships with many rabim in Hebrew specifically refers to multiple parties, not just two.
Daniel saw a multilateral agreement involving numerous nations and stakeholders the modern fulfillment pattern. Now look at the scope of Trump's initiative, the United States providing security guarantees and reconstruction oversight, Israel agreeing to territorial concessions and military restraint, Hamas surrendering weapons and governmental control. Egypt and Qatar serving as mediators and guarantors. Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Jordan providing regional legitimacy, the European Union, potentially contributing reconstruction funds, the United Nations offering international recognition. That's at least eight major parties with dozens of smaller stakeholders.
This is exactly the many that Daniel described.
But here's what should make every believer take notice. Trump has positioned himself not just as a mediator between existing parties, but as the central authority over the entire process.
Daniel specifies that this covenant will last one week, which in prophetic literature represents seven years. While Trump hasn't explicitly stated a seven year timeline, the scope of what he's proposing demands long term implementation.
Consider what his plan includes, complete reconstruction of Gaza's infrastructure, establishment of new governmental systems, creation of economic zones and trade relationships, regional normalization agreements with multiple Arab nations, security arrangements that prevent future conflicts. International development experts estimate that comprehensive post conflict reconstruction requires five to 10 years minimum, the kind of regional transformation Trump envisions, turning the Middle East from a conflict zone into a prosperity zone, would realistically require a decade or more.
The Seven Year prophetic timeline isn't just possible. It's practically necessary for the scope of change, Trump is proposing the temple connection.
But here's where it gets truly prophetic. Daniel's covenant specifically mentions that sacrifice and oblation will be taking place during the first half of the seven year period, then stopped in the middle.
This assumes a functioning temple with active sacrificial worship.
For nearly 2000 years, this seemed impossible because no temple existed, and the requirements for temple service couldn't be met.
The Temple Institute has completed all preparations for reconstruction.
The only missing element is political permission.
Could Trump's comprehensive peace plan include provisions for shared access to the Temple Mount? Could the international oversight President Trump is proposing create a framework for Jewish temple construction alongside continued Muslim worship at the existing sites?
Recent statements from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman suggest that Arab nations might accept Jewish temple construction in exchange for comprehensive Palestinian statehood and regional peace.
What seemed impossible just months ago may be becoming politically feasible.
The withdrawal map in Trump's video, the withdrawal map visible behind him, shows detailed territorial arrangements that go far beyond typical ceasefire lines.
The map includes specific zones of control, phases of implementation, and what appears to be designated areas for different types of activity.
Prophecy Watchers are noting that the map seems to include arrangements for the Temple Mount area, though the resolution makes it difficult to determine exact details.
If this peace plan does include Temple Mount provisions, it would perfectly fulfill Daniel's prediction that the covenant would enable the resumption of sacrificial worship.
What makes this moment particularly prophetic is the unprecedented global unity around Trump's initiative. President Trump specifically mentions that everybody was unified at the UN and beyond, wanting this war to end, historically, Middle East peace initiatives have faced significant international opposition. Arab nations have rejected plans that favor Israel. European powers have criticized arrangements that disadvantage Palestinians. Russia and China have used their UN Security Council positions to block American led initiatives.
But Trump's plan is receiving remarkably broad international support, even traditional adversaries are finding common ground around this framework, “and through his policy also he shall magnify himself in his heart and by peace, shall destroy many. He shall also stand up against the Prince of Princes, but he shall be broken without hand.”
By peace, shall destroy many, not through war, but through peace, not through obvious evil, but through apparent success. Is this the peace that Daniel predicted would mark the beginning of the final seven years before Christ's return?
I'm not making definitive prophetic identifications, whether this is the Prophetic covenant, or the most detailed rehearsal for it in human history. Every believer should be watching, praying and preparing for whatever God is doing in our generation!
But there's another biblical warning that Trump's response brings into sharp focus, and this one should deeply concern anyone who understands New Testament prophecy about the end times.
First, Thessalonians, five verse three “For when they shall say peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them as travail upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape.”
Listen to President Trump's exact words again, “eternal peace.”
“No more fighting, one of the greatest days in civilization's history, peace and safety.”
The exact phrase! Paul warned believers to watch for, but to understand the full prophetic significance of this moment, we need to examine the context Paul was writing in and the specific pattern he was describing. The context of Paul's warning.
Paul wrote these words to the church in Thessalonica around 51 AD, addressing their questions about the timing of Christ's return and the day of the Lord. Look at the verses immediately preceding this warning, first, Thessalonians, five, one to two,
“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you for yourselves. Know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.”
Paul is specifically addressing End Times deception. He's warning about a time when the world will declare peace and safety just before experiencing unprecedented deception and unprecedented destruction.
This is not a general warning about false optimism. It's a specific prophecy about end times events. The Greek word Paul uses for destruction is “olethros”, meaning ruin, death or complete annihilation.
This is not minor setbacks or temporary difficulties. This is catastrophic judgment that comes suddenly and inescapably.
The war that Trump claimed was ending continues with deadly intensity.
Paul's comparison to childbirth is particularly significant - as travail upon a woman with child labor pains that come suddenly, intensely and cannot be stopped once they begin.
Any woman who has given birth knows that labor pains don't announce themselves politely.
They come without warning with increasing intensity and create a process that must run to completion regardless of the mother's comfort or preference.
Paul is saying that when the world declares peace and safety, the judgment that follows will be equally sudden, intense and unstoppable. There will be no opportunity to reverse course, no diplomatic solution, no human intervention that can prevent what comes next.
Now consider the broader context in which Trump's peace declaration is occurring, the United States government remains shut down for the fourth day, with 800,000 federal workers furloughed and $26 billion in federal funding frozen.
American political dysfunction has reached levels not seen since the Civil War.
Trump is promising comprehensive international reconstruction while America's own infrastructure crumbles under political warfare.
He's guaranteeing security abroad while domestic division threatens civil stability at home, the economic implications are staggering.
Markets dropped 1.5% on the first day of the shutdown alone, defense contractors are halting work on military projects, potentially affecting America's ability to fulfill Trump's promises of full backing for Israel.
Paul's warning about false peace fits into a larger biblical pattern that believers need to understand. Matthew 24 six to eight, “and ye shall hear rumors of wars, see that ye be not troubled for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet for nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
Jesus described a sequence wars and rumors of wars, followed by nation rising against nation, followed by various catastrophes, all leading to the beginning of sorrows.
We're seeing exactly this pattern, the Gaza war, representing wars and rumors of wars.
But there's a spiritual dimension to this deception that most people miss entirely.
Ephesians, 6:12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
The deception Paul warned about isn't just political or economical. It's spiritual. The same demonic forces that have opposed God's purposes throughout history are working to deceive humanity.
Think about Satan's ultimate strategy.
He doesn't defeat God's people through obvious evil that everyone can recognize.
International cooperation on humanitarian assistance seems helpful. Centralized resource distribution seems necessary during crises.
But what if these apparently good developments are actually preparing the infrastructure for the greatest deception in human history.
Paul's warning in First Thessalonians five verse three is followed immediately by this crucial statement in verse four, “but ye brethren are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief.”
Believers who are watching and praying, who are grounded in Scripture, who are spiritually alert, they should not be caught off guard by these developments. They should recognize the signs, understand the pattern, and prepare accordingly!
The question every Christian must ask is, ‘are we being deceived by the same false peace that will fool the rest of the world?
Are we celebrating diplomatic breakthroughs without recognizing their prophetic implications?
Are we so desperate for good news that we ignore biblical warnings about end times deception the ultimate test. Could this be the very false peace that Scripture warns will precede the greatest tribulation in human history?
Could President Trump's diplomatic triumph actually be setting the stage for unprecedented spiritual deception?
Whether this specific moment represents the fulfillment of First Thessalonians, five verse three, or just a remarkable preview of it, every believer should be watching, praying and preparing for whatever comes next, because the Apostle Paul's warning ends with these sobering words: “and they shall notescape“
When the real false peace comes, when the ultimate deception unfolds, when sudden destruction arrives, there will be no escape for those who trusted in human solutions instead of divine protection.
Discovery five the global stage, but President Trump's response doesn't exist in isolation.
It's happening at the convergence of multiple global developments. But perhaps most ominously, this same month witnessed the United Kingdom's launch of its mandatory digital ID system, a development that Biblical Prophecy Watchers see as direct infrastructure for the Mark of the Beast described in Revelation 13,
The UK system requires digital identity verification for employment by 2029 it controls access to banking, health care and essential services through smartphone apps, it creates centralized oversight of individual economic participation.
Revelation 13 verses16 to 17: “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads, and that no man might buy or sell save he that had the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.”
The UN Secretary General called it a window of opportunity.
European leaders are expressing cautious optimism. Arab nations are indicating willingness to participate. Even traditional adversaries are finding common ground.
This kind of global unity around a single leader's vision is exactly what biblical prophecy suggests will characterize End Times deception.
Consider the logical progression that President Trump's peace framework creates phase one, comprehensive peace agreement creates international dependency on American aid and oversight. Phase Two, digital distribution systems track and control resource allocation to prevent fraud and ensure compliance. Phase three, central authority, Trump's board, determines who receives assistance based on adherence to peace terms. Phase four, economic participation becomes tied to compliance with international oversight mechanisms. Phase Five, the same systems used for reconstruction aid become the infrastructure for controlling global commerce. This isn't conspiracy theory.
This is the natural evolution of the digital control systems being established through apparently beneficial humanitarian programs
American government collapsing while international leadership is asserted
Digital control systems launching while economic aid is centralized.
Never before have so many biblically predicted elements aligned simultaneously. Never before has the infrastructure for comprehensive control been so advanced while appearing so beneficial
Wars and rumors of wars explode globally as we stand here on October 6, 2025 the world isn't just watching Gaza. It's trembling under a cascade of conflicts that feel ripped straight from Jesus' warnings.
Jesus told his disciples what signs would happen before the end of the world.
Matthew wrote his words like this, “for nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Matthew 24 verses7 to eight. Jesus explained that before the end comes, there would be wars between nations, famines, diseases and earthquakes all over the world. These things are the start of what He called birth pains. They are like the first signs that something big is about to be born. Today we can already see it.
We hear about political wars, wars between countries, fighting for power, “for nation, shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24 verses 7 to eight.
Now let's look at that word sorrows. It means birth pains, or labor pains, when a woman goes into labor, it means a baby is coming soon. Jesus used this example to say that when we see these events, wars, famines, earthquakes, the world is going into labor before the kingdom of God is born on earth, and we all know what happens with labor pains. They come faster and get stronger until the baby arrives. In the same way. Once these signs begin, they won't stop. They'll grow more intense and happen more often until Jesus returns. There's no way to reverse this process, just like no one can stop a birth once labor begins, no one can stop God's plan from being fulfilled. Here's something to think about. Do we want to stop the pain, or do we want to see the baby born?
If we want the kingdom of God to come, then we must be ready for the pain that comes before it.
When people say: “This is too terrible, I wish I wasn't alive in these times”, they forget that these pains mean something wonderful is coming.
If we truly want God's kingdom to come, we will accept the pains that must come first.
Let's ask ourselves, what's more important, avoiding the suffering or welcoming the return of God's kingdom?
Either way, the world will go through the birth pains, let's make sure we're on the right side of what God is doing.
Jesus also showed that the last days would come in a clear order. He used a key word, then that word then appears several times in Matthew 24 it shows one event leading into another, step by step. This is how Jesus spoke clear, organized and full of meaning.
Now look at Matthew, 24 verse nine. “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you and ye shall be hated of all nations, for my name's sake”, who was Jesus talking about? He was speaking to His followers, to us, this verse means that followers of Jesus will be handed over to suffering and death. People will hate them everywhere because of His name. Many believers today pray for revival, and that is good, but when true revival comes, the world will not celebrate it. It will hate it.
When the church is filled with the power of God, the darkness around it will rise up in anger.
We must remember that the stronger the light shines, the more clearly the darkness is revealed.
Then Jesus said something even more serious, “and then shall many be offended and shall betray one another and shall hate one another.” Matthew, 24:10, hear the word, many again means believers. When the Bible speaks about people falling away from faith, it means the Christian faith.
Why would Christians betray each other? - to save themselves in countries where Christians are already persecuted, believers have been forced to choose between loyalty to Jesus and saving their own lives. Some have turned against their brothers and sisters in Christ.
Just because it's not happening everywhere yet doesn't mean it never will.
It's already taking place in parts of the world, and one day it could reach every nation.
This is how it will progress. As persecution rises, some Christians will turn away from their faith and betray others.
There will be growing hatred between those who stay faithful to Jesus and those who fall away.
Some will even report other believers to authorities to escape trouble.
Then Jesus said again, “and many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.” Matthew, 24:11
Every false religion and cult comes from a false prophet, and today, there are more of them than ever before. Some are outside the church, but many are inside it.
Not every person who says ‘God told me’ is truly speaking for God.
In the time of Jeremiah, there was only one true prophet, Jeremiah himself, but there were many false prophets.
They told the people, everything will be fine. Peace is coming when, in truth, disaster was on the way. Because the people preferred comforting lies, they ignored Jeremiah's warnings. The false prophets made them feel safe while judgment was near.
We're seeing the same thing today. There are many voices promising blessings, comfort and success, but they never call people to repent. Under the law of Moses, a false prophet faced severe punishment for lying in God's name.
If that law were still in place today, there would be far fewer ‘so called’ prophets.
A true prophet always calls people to repentance. That is what God's word demands.
If someone speaks about your future but never calls for repentance, we must question if that person is truly sent by God, the condition of our world and even our churches shows that God is calling us back to himself, entertainment and smooth Words won't save us, only repentance and truth will.
Jesus told us what would happen because of this falling away from faith. When sin increases, love decreases, He said in Matthew 24:12 “and because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” The more sin spreads, the colder people's hearts become. We can already see this in our world. People care less about others.
Families are divided and the fear of God fades.
But Jesus also gave us a promise.
“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Matthew 24:13
Even when others fall away, those who stand firm in their faith will be saved. Jesus wasn't trying to scare us. He was preparing us. He wanted his followers to know that before His kingdom comes, there will be pain, betrayal, deception and coldness, but those who hold fast to him will overcome these are the beginning of sorrows, the labor pains before the birth of the kingdom of God.
And just like a mother endures her pain because she knows a child is coming, we endure these times because we know that Jesus is coming. When we see the wars, the earthquakes, the hatred and the false prophets. Remember what Jesus said. “All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew, 24, eight.
That means the kingdom is near. Let us not lose hope or faith. Let us stay watchful, prayerful and ready, because when these things begin to happen, we know that the birth of His kingdom is close, and “because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” Matthew 24:12 Jesus warned that when sin increases, the love in many hearts will grow cold. The word many here means many Christians. The Greek word for love used in this verse is agape, the kind of love that only comes from God. This isn't the world's idea of love. It's the deep, Godly love that should live inside every believer. But when lawlessness grows, this love starts to fade. Here's a simple truth, lawlessness breeds lovelessness. When people live in sin and rebellion, love begins to die. Today, our world is full of lawlessness, crime, corruption and selfishness fill the culture. Many people have become numb and hardened. We say things like, it's just how the world is. Why bother trying? I'll just look out for myself. But this attitude leads to a cold heart, in America especially, lawlessness has become a storm sweeping through the land, we must remember that sin and love cannot live together.
God's Love demands discipline, order and self control. True love is not selfish. It does not push others down to lift itself up. Real Love comes from a heart that follows God's laws. That's why, when lawlessness spreads, the love of God gets squeezed out. We must protect our hearts. We must hold tightly to our love for God and for one another - without love, faith dies - without obedience, love fades.
Enduring to the end, Jesus listed five key signs that would mark the beginning of the end times. But not everyone will fall to fear, sin or persecution.
There will still be believers who stay faithful. And what does Jesus promise them? “He who endures to the end shall be saved”. Matthew 24:13
In the original Greek, this verse can be read, “he who has endured to the end shall be saved.” That means salvation isn't just about starting Well, it's about finishing strong. Thank God. We are saved now through faith in Jesus, but to remain faithful, we must endure. The only way to learn endurance is to keep going, no matter what comes endurance is God's way of preparing us for what lies ahead.
We shouldn't complain when life tests us because testing makes us stronger.
The Bible says, “my brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James, one, two to four.
If we want to be complete in Christ, we must let endurance do its full work in us. That's how we become strong and steadfast in faith, the ultimate sign.
Now we come to the final question: the disciples asked Jesus, “what will be the sign of the end of the age?” Up to this point, Jesus spoke about signs in the plural, but now he gives one clear sign in the singular. We find the answer in Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
When will the end come? The end will come when the true gospel of the kingdom is preached all over the world to every nation. This is a powerful truth. It means that history's turning point does not rest in the hands of world leaders, generals or scientists, but in the hands of the church, only the followers of Jesus can bring about the final sign, the worldwide preaching of the gospel. Jesus didn't say a watered down or modernized message would do. He said, This gospel, the same message he preached, must go to every nation. It's the gospel of repentance, forgiveness and the coming Kingdom of God.
In Revelation seven, John describes a vision of what happens when this mission is complete. After these things, I looked and behold a great multitude which no one could number of all nations, tribes, peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands and crying out with a loud voice saying, “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne and to the Lamb” Revelation 7:9 to 10.
This great multitude represents believers from every nation who have received salvation through faith in Jesus, the Lamb of God. They are the fruit of the church's mission, the final sign that the end has come and that God's Kingdom is ready to reign forever.
